John A. Belward John Belward is a Professional Mathematician, expert in Scientific Computation. He is an Adjunct Professor at Queensland University of Technology , he retired 9 years ago from the Mathematics Department which is now part of the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Queensland. He has done work in the Institute for Molecular Bioscience and currently is a Research Fellow in the Centre for Nutrition and Food Sciences. John has established the Queensland Consortium for Scientific Computation and Mathematics as an independent body set up to foster the application of mathematics and scientific computation to practical problems.
